Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen and 20 other states sent a letter to the U.S. Senate and Judiciary Committee opposing the nomination of David Chipman to be the Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives. The attorneys general contend Mr. Chipmanā€™s past affiliation with anti-gun organizations and positions on firearms is concerning to the protection of the Second Amendment.
