Kansas and Nebraska sent a letter to the Secretary of the Interior urging the Department to respect private property rights in its review of conserving 30 percent of our lands and waters by 2030. The states note the language in President Biden’s Executive Order 13990 is vague and the order represents another federal overreach into private property rights as well as state and local authority.
